Arabako Pottoka Elkartea
The Araba Pottoka AssociationThe Araba Pottoka Association (Asociación Alavesa de Pottokas) is a non profit organization, founded in 1988 to work in the Alava territory to promote the Pottoka breed.
The works developed by the association are:
- Management of the stud book in the Alava territory, with individual rating according with the breed rater: Iñigo Pascual. Certificates for the registered individuals.
- Participation in the monographic fair.
- Management of the selected studs handed over by the "Diputaciones Forales"
In 2008, the association has 7 members that keep 42 qualified mares. This "heard" is under constant expansion.
