Knowing the horse nature will allow us to communicate with him and avoid misunderstandings. From the beginning of our relationship we seek harmony and cooperation from the horse that will yield to tension free movements.

This tension free movements are also the goal of other kinds of taming, but many times they are done unconsciously, or contra productive from the horse's point of view. So a lot of patient experience and tact are needed in order to achieve good results.

In natural taming we employ a direct route to the horse's will as to gain his cooperation. It is so fast that we may ride a young colt with just one hour of training, with all his confidence. In a few days we are able to ride the colt out in the fields with only a head band. The results with colt or sour horses are so spectacular that many times we may be accused of cheating people or that we are doping the horse. Nothing is further from the truth.

It is just a simple taming technique that allows for the horse to use it's own logic , without forcing him to understand our logic.
